From Missouri Roots to Nationwide Service
A&A Outhouses and Pumping didn’t start as a big operation. It started with a simple belief: that every job site, every outdoor event, and every project deserves clean, reliable restroom facilities – and that the people using them deserve to be treated with dignity.
Founded in 2009 by Aaron Dawson, A&A Outhouses and Pumping got its start the way most good businesses do – by solving a real problem for real people. What began as a local portable sanitation service in Centralia, Missouri quickly earned a reputation for showing up on time, keeping units clean, and treating every customer like a neighbor. Word spread. Demand grew. And so did we.
Built on the Basics, Expanded by Demand
Our core service has always been portable toilet rental. From construction crews breaking ground at sunrise to weekend festivals drawing thousands of visitors, we understood that sanitation is never an afterthought – it’s a necessity. We invested in a fleet that could handle it all: standard units for worksites, high-capacity setups for large events, and accessible ADA-compliant restrooms to make sure no one was left without options.
As our clients’ needs evolved, so did our offerings. Contractors asked for long-term rental agreements with regular service schedules. Event planners wanted something their guests would actually feel good about using. That’s when we expanded into luxury restroom trailers – climate-controlled, elegantly appointed, and a world away from what most people picture when they hear “portable toilet.”
We also added pumping and sanitation services, rounding out our capabilities so clients could rely on us not just for equipment, but for full-service waste management support.
We hold PSAI (Portable Sanitation Association International) membership and carry full liability insurance – meeting the compliance and credentialing standards that construction firms, event venues, and property managers require before signing a contract.
Growing Into All 50 States
Expanding from a Missouri company to a nationwide operation wasn’t something we rushed. We grew deliberately, building a network of licensed regional partners who share our service standards before extending coverage to any new area. Today, A&A Outhouses and Pumping serves clients in all 50 states – from urban construction projects in New York and Los Angeles to outdoor weddings in rural Tennessee and corporate events in Texas.
